This is according to the grace of God alone through faith in Jesus Christ alone, for it is "by grace you have been saved,through faith" (Eph 2:8-10). However, in the Gospel of Luke, Jesus warns,"I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish" (Lk13:3). If you simply turn from your sins by turning to the cross, you will experience the renewal that the Holy Spirit brings. Believe in your heart thatChrist died and rose again. That is faith in God.The only way you can be saved is by accepting His free gift of eternal life. When this happens, the evidence of true belief is the presence of the Holy Spirit,for he convicts you of sin, causes spiritual birth, indwells, seals,sanctifies, guides, equips, teaches, and fills the believer, thus enabling him to walk in obedience to God and His Word.
